Bikestyle 2009 Downhill Series - Round 2

Round 2 went really well. It was a bit hectic to begin with trying to sort time keepers out & waiting for the commissaire,but in the end we had 2,so hats off to SteveK & Andy,thanx fellas! The course was pretty mint. fast,big drifts,big jumps,so much fun & with good visibility,it was really enjoyable for the marshals & spectators too. We'd like to thank mike for being kind enough to use his quad to bring us to the top,it made such a difference. THANX MIKE! Big thanks to the marshals,Brian for lending me the radios,steve for the 1st aid/marshal cover. All the spectators. Pete for helping start us off at the top. a massive thankyou to Mrs Corrin for letting the club use her field. We'd also like to thank Stu Brew for helping with the timing at the bottom,thanks to him we at least got to get our 2 runs in! Gaz is going to do the write up in the next couple of days & we'll get the latest standings up aswell.
